Mata - And The Team Of The Year So Far

I said Manchester United needed a boost and the signing of Jaun Mata is that. He's needed so desperately as United's creativity as disappeared into thin air. He will give the club a much needed rise as all they can really aim for is a top four finish. I said earlier in the week Moyes needed a big signing, this could be a Ozil like deal for the Red Devils, the impact he will have could be massive. It also looks like now Rooney wants to stay which is another boost to Man United.

Premier League Quick Fire Update

I haven't wrote a blog in a while so here's my quick fire views on what's happening in the Premier League world.

Arsenal find themselves top of the table, can they really win the league or will Arsenal blow up in sensational fashion like they tend to do/ I think they will find a way to mess up this great opportunity in winning the Premier League.

Man City are scoring goals for fun its a joke, I can't see anyone beating them at home but I will stick with my original pick of Chelsea winning the title. Chelsea look like the Chelsea of old under Jose just grinding their way through teams.

I thought Liverpool would have fallen by now but the performances of Suarez has kept them in the top four. Sturridge has also been playing out of his skin. Sherwood seems to be getting the right tune out of Tottenham with Adebayor back in the fold.

David Moyes is having a tough time getting slated left right and centre, he does need a boost or a signing or the injuries to stop. However the aim now is a top four finish which I feel is a must. I don't know if he will get it as they now need Everton, Liverpool or Spurs to fall fast. United could do with buying a centre midfielder in January to give them and him a boost.

The drop zone is is very tight and this looks like it will go down to the wire. So at the minute it's looking bad for Cardiff and West Ham. Fulham are in serious trouble. Swansea have been surprisingly poor. Sunderland have some fight, Palace have more fight while Stoke may see that Mark Hughes is not really all that. Norwich seem to be in trouble then pull out a big win which gets them out of it for a week.

I will revise my top four and relegation picks after the transfer window closes.
