As we head into the busy Christmas period I have a quick look at a few early contenders to who have been my player of the year. Jamie Vardy - Leicester City   Is this really happening? Vardy form has been sensational, record breaking and to be truthful, unexpected. Vardy has shocked the world with his performances this season and it doesn't look like it will stop any time soon. I expect him to break 20 goals this season with ease and has to be on the plane to the Euro 2016. Odion Ighalo - Watford Scored 20 goals in the Championship last season and has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water. He's scored 7 times this season and settled in to top flight life a lot easier then Deeney who I thought would excel. So it's so far so good for the Nigerian striker.
